South African to Tanzania Visa Free (90 days)

Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry and have at least one blank visa page.

Two recent passport-sized photographs are required for visa processing and identification.

Proof of a return or onward flight ticket is required to confirm travel plans.

Proof of accommodation during the stay in Tanzania must be provided.

For Zanzibar visits, mandatory inbound travel insurance costing USD 44 must be purchased in advance; recommended for the whole Tanzania trip.

Required only if arriving from a yellow fever endemic country; not required from South Africa.
