South African to Slovakia Visa Required

Passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay in Slovakia.

A properly and correctly filled in and signed Schengen visa application form is required.

One recent passport-size color photo not attached to the application form.

Proof of onward travel including flight tickets showing entry and exit dates to/from Slovakia.

Proof of accommodation for the duration of the stay in Slovakia.

Bank statements for the last three months showing sufficient funds to cover the stay.

Travel insurance with minimum medical coverage of EUR 30,000 valid for the entire Schengen area.

Proof of employment or student enrollment to demonstrate ties to South Africa and intent to return.

Applicants must appear in person to submit biometrics (fingerprints and photo) by appointment.

If staying with relatives or friends, an invitation letter mentioning the accommodation details is required.
