South African to Hungary Visa Required

Passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned date of departure from Hungary and issued within the last 10 years. It must also have at least two blank pages.

Fully completed and signed Schengen visa application form.

Recent passport-sized color photographs that meet Schengen visa photo requirements.

Round-trip flight itinerary specifying entry and exit dates from the Schengen Area, clearly showing travel to and from Hungary.

Proof of accommodation for the entire duration of stay, such as hotel reservations or invitation letter if staying with a host.

Proof of sufficient financial means to cover the stay, approximately $50 USD per day, through recent bank statements or equivalent proof.

Valid travel insurance covering medical emergencies and repatriation with minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros valid throughout the Schengen Area.

Applicants must provide biometric data (fingerprints and photo) at visa application center; medical notes required if biometrics cannot be captured.
