American to Gambia Visa on Arrival

Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry to Gambia and contain at least one blank page for entry stamp.

Two identical, recent, color passport-style photographs are required for visa applications when applying in advance.

Proof of onward or return flight booking is required to demonstrate travel plans.

Proof of accommodation reservation during your stay in Gambia must be provided.

Proof of yellow fever vaccination is mandatory and must be shown at entry.

If applying for an e-visa or before arrival, the completed visa application form must be submitted with original signature.

Travel insurance covering the duration of the stay is recommended but not mandatory.

Evidence of financial means to cover your stay may be requested at the border or during visa application.
