American to Algeria Visa on Arrival

Your U.S. passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date from Algeria. The passport must be original, signed, and have at least two blank pages available for visa stamps.

Submit a copy of the main photo page of your passport.

Complete and sign two visa application forms. Applications must be typed only; handwritten applications are not accepted. Forms should be printed and fully completed.

Provide two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background, taken within the last 6 months.

Submit a copy of your round-trip airline itinerary or proof of travel plans showing your exit from Algeria.

For tourism visas, provide a hotel booking confirmation from your accommodation in Algeria. If staying with friends or family, an invitation letter from your host in Algeria is acceptable, but it must be notarized by the appropriate city hall.

Include a copy of proof of U.S. residency. A U.S. passport, Green Card, or appropriate visa are accepted as evidence of residency.

You may be required to provide proof of sufficient financial means for your stay in Algeria, such as bank statements or account statements.
