Original, signed U.S. passport with at least six months of remaining validity beyond the intended stay in Cape Verde and adequate unused visa pages for entry and exit stamps. Amendment pages are not accepted for stamps.

International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required if arriving from or having traveled through an area with yellow fever risk.

Round-trip flight itinerary or confirmed tickets demonstrating entry and exit from Cape Verde.

Proof of accommodation for the duration of stay in Cape Verde.

For visa on arrival or e-visa applicants who require a visa for stays over 30 days, the fully completed and signed visa application form must be submitted.

Two recent passport-type photographs (2x2 inches), color, front view with a white background, required if applying for a visa.

Travel insurance covering health and travel risks is recommended but not mandatory.
