A clear written explanation of the purpose of the trip (tourism) must be submitted, usually during the visa interview or in the application.

Applicants must provide biometric data including fingerprints and a photograph during the visa interview at the embassy or consulate.

Pay the non-refundable visa application fee of $185 USD prior to scheduling the interview.

Schedule and attend an appointment at the U.S. embassy or consulate in Turkey (Ankara or Istanbul) for a visa interview.

Although not mandatory, providing hotel confirmation letters or accommodation details can support your application.

Providing flight tickets or booking confirmations may be requested to demonstrate intention to return.

Travel insurance is recommended but not mandatory for the visa application.
