Slovene to United States Visa Required

Slovenian passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended date of return from the United States. The passport should ideally have been issued within the last 10 years.

Completed and signed DS-160 (Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application form) for tourism purposes. The form must be completed online at the U.S. Department of State website.

Recent passport-style photograph (2x2 inches) meeting U.S. visa photo requirements. Photo must be in color, taken within the last 6 months, with a white or off-white background.

Evidence of sufficient funds to cover the tourism visit to the United States, including accommodation, meals, and return transportation. Bank statements, employment verification letters, or sponsor letters demonstrating financial capacity.

Detailed itinerary of the planned visit including purpose of travel, planned cities/destinations, dates of stay, and activities planned while in the United States.

Confirmation of round-trip air travel or evidence of planned return to Slovenia. Booking reference or ticket showing outbound and return flights.

Confirmation of accommodation arrangements in the United States, such as hotel reservations or invitation letter from a host if staying with friends or family.

Evidence of strong ties to Slovenia such as employment letter, property ownership documents, family relationships, or business ownership to demonstrate intention to return after tourism visit.

Fingerprints and photograph will be collected at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate during the visa interview. This is a mandatory step in the visa application process.

Letter from current employer verifying employment status, position, and approval for vacation/leave during the intended travel dates. Helpful for demonstrating ties to Slovenia and intent to return.
