Slovene to United Kingdom Visa Free (180 days)

Your passport must have been issued within the last 10 years and be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended stay. Passport must have at least two empty pages.

From 2 April 2025, all Slovenian citizens traveling to the UK for tourism require an ETA. It costs £10 (about 13 USD), is valid for 2 years, allows multiple entries, and permits stays up to 180 days. Apply at least 24 hours before travel. The ETA approval usually takes up to 3 working days but can be as quick as 12 hours.

A recent passport photograph compliant with ICAO standards is required for the ETA application.

Biometric data collection is mandatory when submitting an application in person where biometric collection services apply.

Proof of travel arrangements such as round-trip flight or train tickets is required to demonstrate the intention to leave the UK after the visit.

A hotel booking confirmation or other accommodation proof during your stay in the UK must be presented.

You must demonstrate adequate funds to cover your stay, such as recent bank statements or credit card statements.

You may need to provide a short statement explaining the purpose of your visit (tourism).

While not legally mandatory for UK ETA tourists, travel insurance including medical coverage is highly recommended.
