Nigerian to Slovakia Visa Required

Passport valid for at least 3 months after your intended date of departure from the Schengen Area with at least 2 blank visa pages.

The official Schengen Visa form for Slovakia, fully completed and signed by the applicant.

1 or 2 recent (35x45mm) colored biometric passport photos, on white background, not older than 6 months.

Proof of payment of the visa application fee (approx. €80, equivalent to about 85 USD). Receipt issued by the Visa Application Center or bank transfer statement.

Travel medical insurance with minimum €30,000 coverage for medical emergencies, hospitalization, and repatriation valid in all Schengen States, for the full duration of stay.

Proof of a flight reservation showing entry and exit from the Schengen Area. Actual ticket purchase is not required at application stage.

Proof of accommodation covering the entire duration of stay—can be hotel bookings, rental agreements, or an invitation if staying with a host.

Recent (usually last 3-6 months) bank statements proving sufficient funds to cover all expenses during the stay in Slovakia/Schengen Area.

Letter of employment (or business registration, if self-employed) or letter of enrollment if a student. Specifies employer/school contact details, duration of employment or study, and approval of leave.

Applicants must provide fingerprints and have a digital photo taken when submitting the visa application unless already submitted within past 59 months for a previous Schengen visa.

Outline of planned travel activities in Slovakia or Schengen, including destinations and dates.

Letter briefly explaining the purpose of visit, planned travel, and personal background.

Applicable if invited by a host. Letter must include the host's details, address, signature, and copy of host’s identity/passport/residence permit.

Documents showing applicant’s ties to Nigeria (e.g., birth certificate, lease agreement, property ownership, family dependents) to demonstrate intention to return.
