Nigerian to Romania Visa Required

Passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond planned departure from Romania with at least 2 blank pages.

The standard Romania Schengen visa application form must be filled and signed. Printed from the eVisa portal or embassy website.

Recent color passport-size photograph (35mm x 45mm, white background) following biometric standards.

Proof of round-trip or onward travel showing confirmed entry and exit from Romania within the visa period.

Confirmed hotel booking or accommodation arrangements for your entire stay. If invited by a host, provide supporting invitation and host's proof of residence.

Recent bank statements for the past 3-6 months showing sufficient funds to cover the entire stay (amount may vary, typically at least €50/day).

Travel/medical insurance valid for Romania (and Schengen area if traveling further), minimum €30,000 coverage for medical emergencies and repatriation.

A brief signed letter stating reason for tourism visit and intended activities in Romania.

If applying from a third country (not Nigeria), provide residency permit or visa of that country.

Proof of payment for the visa application fee (usually payable at embassy in cash, confirmed as $90 USD).

All applicants must appear in person for biometric capture at the embassy or authorized visa application center.

If invited by a Romanian resident or organization, a formal invitation letter indicating host’s ID/residence status may be needed.

Employment verification letter, company letterhead, school attendance certificate, or business registration as applicable.
