Nigerian to India Visa Required

Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of application, with at least two blank pages.

Online visa application form must be completed, printed, and signed in ink under the photograph and on page 2.

Two recent passport-sized photographs (50mm x 50mm or 2 x 2 inches) with light background. Photos should be glued on forms.

Clear photocopy of the data page of your passport.

A letter introducing the applicant, typically from the applicant or a sponsor/employer.

Invitation from an Indian host with contact details and a scanned copy of PAN/Aadhar card, sent directly to the Indian High Commission and attached as a printout with the application.

Confirmed travel booking showing entry and exit from India.

Proof of accommodation for the time in India, e.g. hotel bookings.

Original or stamped bank statement from the last six months to prove sufficient funds for travel.

Any one official address proof of the applicant.

Certificate of oral polio vaccination or IPV, valid for one year from date of administration, mandatory for residents of Nigeria.

Proof of yellow fever vaccination for all travelers except infants under six months.

Previous passport(s), if any, should be provided to verify previous travel history.

Letter from employer or professional documents to confirm employment status; businessmen to provide basic business documents.

Recommended but not mandatory; proof of insurance covering full period of stay in India.
