Nigerian to Hungary Visa Required

Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from date of travel and have at least 2 blank visa pages. Passport not older than 10 years. Must be presented in original.

Duly filled and signed Hungarian Schengen visa application form. Minors' forms require signatures of parents/legal representatives and parental ID copies.

One recent passport-size photograph (not older than 6 months) with plain white background, clear and well-defined facial features.

Proof of round-trip flight reservation/booking showing entry to and exit from the Schengen area.

Confirmed accommodation reservation for the entire stay in Hungary (hotel, Airbnb, or official invitation for private visit).

Travel insurance covering all Schengen states, minimum coverage EUR 30,000 for medical emergencies and repatriation. Must be valid for full duration of stay.

Original bank statement of the last 6 months, in English, showing sufficient funds to cover trip expenses.

Letter of guarantee and signed copy of sponsor’s ID/passport if someone else financially supports the trip.

Documentary proof of strong ties to Nigeria (e.g., marriage certificate, employment, property ownership).

Detailed explanation of tourism purpose, intended itinerary, and travel plans in Hungary.

Applicant must provide fingerprints and live photograph at the visa application center as part of Schengen biometric enrollment.

Copies of issued Schengen or other country visas relevant to travel history.
