Nigerian to Greece Visa Required

Passport must be valid for at least 90 days beyond your planned departure from the Schengen area, issued within the last 10 years, and have at least 2 blank pages.

One recent color passport-sized photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm), against a light background, taken within the last 6 months.

Application form must be completed and signed. Forms are available at the consulate or its website.

A criminal record certificate from the last three years, certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Original letter from employer confirming employment (dated within 1 month, original signature, letterhead), and certificate of employment for the last three years. Must state leave dates. If self-employed, provide business registration and tax documents.

Salary slips for the last three years.

Tax clearance certificate for the last three years, certified by the issuing authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Original bank statement and proof of balance for the last three years, certified by a bank official and the bank’s head. Full account history required.

Hotel reservation letter in Greek sent by fax, detailing guest’s name, passport number, full stay duration, and booking price. Certified by the hotel manager with signature and hotel seal.

Copy of fully paid return or onward flight ticket or reservation showing applicant’s name and travel dates.

Travel insurance covering the entire Schengen area and entire stay, with a minimum medical coverage of €30,000 for emergency medical care and repatriation. Certified by an official and the company’s head.

Certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Required for minors and may also be requested for adults.

Certified by MFA. Health certificate may confirm fitness to travel and lack of contagious diseases.

Written statement explaining purpose of visit, intended activities, and travel itinerary.

Applicants must provide fingerprints and a digital photograph at the time of application at the consulate or designated visa application center.

Statement of property occupation (such as property ownership or lease), certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Optional for tourists staying at hotels, but may strengthen the application.

Family relationship certificate, certified by MFA. Often required for family-related visits or if traveling with family.

Marriage certificate, certified by MFA. Required if traveling with a spouse or to prove marital status.

Certificate proving unmarried status (for singles), certified by MFA. May be requested depending on applicant’s profile.
