Nigerian to Finland Visa Required

Passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your planned stay in Finland, issued within the last ten years, and have at least two blank pages.

Fill out and sign the official Schengen visa application form; this can be done electronically or in PDF format for hand or computer completion.

One recent passport-sized photograph, compliant with Schengen photo requirements.

Valid travel insurance covering the entire Schengen area for the period of validity of the visa. Minimum coverage EUR 30,000 for medical emergency, accident, and repatriation.

Evidence of sufficient funds to cover both stay and return, minimum EUR 50 per day. Recent bank statements are required to prove adequate finances.

Reservation or itinerary showing intended travel to and from Finland/Schengen area.

Proof of accommodation for all days in Finland (e.g., confirmed hotel booking, invitation from private host).

Free-form letter (cover letter) explaining the reason for travel, duration and planned activities in Finland. Required for all tourism visa applications.

If the applicant is a minor, a written consent from parent/legal guardian is required.

If staying with a host, proof of sponsorship with EU-standard sponsorship form and financial evidence from host, including the host’s contact details and the invitation letter.
