Nigerian to China Visa Required

Your Nigerian passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of application and have at least two blank visa pages.

One recent color passport-sized photo taken against a white background. No head covering unless for religious reasons.

Visa application form must be completed online, printed and signed by the applicant, then submitted with all other documents.

Proof of confirmed hotel bookings for the duration of your stay in China.

Copy of round-trip flight tickets showing entry and exit from China.

For Nigerian citizens, joining an organized tourist group (minimum 5 persons) is compulsory. The group must provide an invitation letter from an authorized Chinese travel agency.

Recent bank statements (usually last 3-6 months) to demonstrate proof of sufficient funds for your stay in China.

Brief letter stating your reason for travel, itinerary, and intended duration of stay; may be included as part of the application form.

Proof of comprehensive travel insurance is recommended but not mandatory for the visa application.

Applicants are encouraged to provide a police character certificate authenticated by the Chinese embassy, especially for longer stays or non-tourist purposes.
