Kenyan to Netherlands Visa Required

A Kenyan passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended stay in the Schengen area, issued within the last 10 years, with at least two blank pages.

Original, completed, and signed Schengen visa application form. Must be filled out accurately in English or Dutch.

Two recent passport-sized photos (not older than six months), color, white background, meeting visa photograph standards.

Certificate(s) proving civil status such as birth, marriage, or death certificates depending on personal circumstances.

Documentation showing confirmed accommodation bookings for the stay, e.g., hotel reservation, Airbnb receipt, or invitation with address from host.

Confirmed round-trip flight itinerary matching planned travel dates shown in application documents.

Travel health insurance covering at least €30,000 for medical emergencies, valid for all Schengen countries for entire duration of stay.

Official, stamped bank statement showing transactions for the last three months and sufficient funds to cover expenses during the trip (net minimum varies, but must meet Netherlands Schengen daily requirements).

Proof of payment of the visa application fee, usually acquired at the payment step through the VFS Global center or bank transaction receipt.

Detailed cover letter explaining the purpose of visit, travel plans, places to visit, duration of stay, and statement of ties to Kenya. Must be signed.

Short written statement summarizing the tourism purpose of visit, trip itinerary and intentions to return to Kenya.

Fingerprints and digital photo collected at VFS Global, mandatory unless biometric data was successfully submitted within the past 59 months and is still valid.

For minors traveling, signed parental consent and documentation proving parent-child relationship must be provided.

Copy of any prior Schengen visa, if held. Recommended for applicants with previous travel to Schengen countries.
