Kenyan to Greece Visa Required

Kenyan passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the expiry of the requested visa and must include at least two blank pages. Previous passports may be requested.

Duly completed and signed. Available from the Greek Embassy or their official website. Forms must be filled in English or Greek.

One recent color photo, white background, taken within the last 3 months, 3.5 x 4.5 cm.

For Kenyan nationals, provide a Kenyan ID. For residents, provide proof of legal residence in Kenya valid at least 6 months beyond visa expiry.

Written statement describing the reason for the visit (tourism). If invited by an EU citizen, an official invitation (sworn statement) authorized by Greek authorities, with host passport/ID and address, is required.

Proof of pre-booked accommodation in Greece (hotel, hostel, or invitation/lease/title deed if staying with family/friends). Must cover all intended travel dates.

Certified bank statements for the last six months from a Kenyan bank demonstrating sufficient funds for travel and stay.

For employed applicants, a letter of employment including granted leave of absence; for self-employed, company registration certificate.

Proof of booked round-trip or return air travel. Final confirmed ticket required upon visa approval but prior to collection.

Medical insurance policy covering at least 30,000 EUR for medical emergencies and repatriation for the entire Schengen area during your stay.

May be requested for supporting civil status documentation, particularly for family travel or minors.

If under 18 and traveling alone or with one parent, a consent letter signed by non-traveling parent(s) or legal guardian(s), plus copy of guardian's passport/National ID and the child's birth certificate.
