Kenyan to Canada Visa Required

Kenyan passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended date of departure from Canada.

IMM 5257 form must be filled out online and printed for submission.

Two recent passport-sized photographs, 35 mm x 45 mm, meeting Canadian visa photo specifications.

Personal bank statements covering the last 6 months as proof of sufficient funds for the duration of stay.

Proof of travel insurance covering the entire duration of your stay in Canada, including medical coverage.

Detailed round-trip flight itinerary showing entry and exit from Canada (no need to purchase ticket before visa is issued).

Confirmed accommodation bookings in Canada for your intended stay.

Personal written explanation outlining the purpose of your visit, duration, and travel plans in Canada.

Employment verification letter stating your position, salary, and approved leave, or business documents if self-employed.

Evidence such as property deeds, family ties, or similar documents confirming your intention to return to Kenya.

Applicants must attend a Visa Application Center in person in Nairobi to provide fingerprints and a photograph.

Receipt for payment of the official visa application fee; attach printed proof of payment.

Copies of previous visas and travel stamps (if available) to demonstrate international travel history.

If invited by a Canadian resident/citizen, a signed invitation letter explaining your relationship and purpose of visit.

Medical examination required only if requested by the visa officer or for longer stays; must be from an approved panel physician.
