Proof of onward and return flight bookings from Iceland is required.

Proof of accommodation such as hotel reservations for the entire duration of stay in Iceland.

Recent bank statements showing sufficient funds to cover the stay and expenses in Iceland.

Valid travel insurance covering medical emergencies with a minimum coverage of 30,000 EUR for the entire Schengen area and duration.

A statement clearly describing the intention of the visit as tourism.

Applicants must provide biometric data (fingerprints and photograph) at the visa application center as part of the application process.

Optional cover letter explaining travel plans and intent during the visit.

If employed, a letter from employer confirming employment and leave approval may be requested.

If visiting friends or family, an invitation letter from the host in Iceland may be submitted.
