Visa requirements for British passport holders traveling to Kenya
Valid passport with 6+ months validity
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival in Kenya. This is a mandatory requirement for all British citizens.
Two blank pages in passport
Your passport must have at least 2 blank pages at the time of arrival in Kenya. These pages are required for immigration processing.
Passport photograph

Completed Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) application
British citizens must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization online at www.etakenya.go.ke before traveling to Kenya. Applications must be submitted at least 5 business days (72 hours minimum) before travel. eTAs are not issued on arrival. The eTA is valid for 90 days from approval and allows for tourism, business, and transit purposes.
Passport information page copy
A clear, color scan or photograph of the information page of your passport (typically page 2 or 3) and the last page of your passport must be provided for the eTA application.
Contact information
Valid email address and contact details are required for the eTA application. You will receive your approved eTA via email.
Accommodation booking confirmation
