British to Eritrea Visa Required

Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Eritrea with at least 2 blank consecutive pages for visa stamping.

Recent colored passport-sized photo for visa application.

Fully completed visa application form, either online for e-visa or paper form for embassy application.

Confirmed return or onward flight reservations to and from Eritrea.

Proof of accommodation with hotel booking or invitation letter if staying with family/friends.

Bank statements or proof of sufficient funds to cover the stay in Eritrea.

A clear statement explaining the purpose of the visit (tourism).

Fingerprints and photograph capture is required as part of the visa application process either at the embassy or visa application center.

Payment of the official visa application fee of approximately 70 USD is mandatory. Payment methods vary by application platform.

Travel insurance covering the full duration of the stay is recommended but not mandatory.
