British to Germany Visa Free (90 days)

Your passport must be issued within the last 10 years and valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned date of departure from the Schengen Area. It should be machine-readable.

From mid-2025, UK citizens must obtain an ETIAS travel authorization online before entering Germany for short stays up to 90 days within any 180-day period. ETIAS is not a visa but is mandatory for entry.

It's recommended to have a confirmed return or onward flight booking showing dates of travel within the allowed visa-free period.

Proof of accommodation may be requested at the border or during travel to confirm your stay.

While not mandatory for visa-exempt travel, it is advisable to have travel insurance covering health emergencies for the duration of your stay.
