British to Canada Visa Free (180 days)

Your passport must be valid for the entirety of your stay in Canada. If your passport has fewer than six months remaining, it may result in longer processing at immigration.

British citizens must apply for an eTA online before flying to Canada. The eTA is electronically linked to your passport and is valid for multiple visits up to 180 days per visit.

You may be asked to provide evidence of sufficient funds to support your stay in Canada.

You may be asked to show proof of onward or return travel.

You may be asked to provide proof of accommodation.

Travel insurance is not mandatory but strongly recommended.

You may be asked to explain the purpose of your visit.

If you are a lone parent travelling with anyone under 18, you should carry a letter of consent from the other parent.
