British to Burundi Visa on Arrival

Required Documents

• Valid passport with 6+ months validity

  Your passport must have an expiry date at least 6 months after your arrival date in Burundi and must contain at least one blank page. Ensure your passport is valid and has not been reported lost or stolen.

• Completed visa application form

  You must complete the Airport entry visa or Transit visa application online before arriving in Burundi. Once submitted, you will receive a validation certificate that will be needed to obtain your visa upon arrival.

• Yellow fever vaccination certificate

  You must have a certificate proving you have received a yellow fever vaccination due to the risk of yellow fever transmission in Burundi.

• Onward ticket

  Proof of your onward journey or return flight ticket to demonstrate you do not intend to stay in Burundi permanently.

• Proof of sufficient funds

  Evidence that you have adequate financial resources to support yourself during your stay in Burundi.

• Visa fee payment

  A one-month visa costs $90 USD. Payment can be made online during the application process or in cash upon arrival in Burundi. The visa is valid for both single and multiple entries.
