British to Bulgaria Visa Free (90 days)

Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended date of departure from Bulgaria and should have been issued within the last 10 years.

Proof of onward or return flight booking is required to demonstrate the intention to leave Bulgaria within the visa-free period.

Proof of accommodation for the duration of stay in Bulgaria.

Travel medical insurance valid for the entire stay in Bulgaria covering emergencies, hospitalisation, and repatriation, with minimum coverage of €30,000 is recommended and may be checked at the border.

Bank statements or other proof of sufficient funds to cover your stay may be requested at the border to demonstrate you have adequate financial means.

A statement explaining the purpose of your visit such as tourism may be requested if questioned at the border.

A recent color photograph may be required only if applying for a visa, which rarely applies to UK nationals traveling for tourism under 90 days.
