Required Documents

• Completed visa application form

  Duly completed and signed application form filled with correct personal details in English or Arabic. A sample completed form is available from the Greek consulate.

• Valid passport with 3+ months validity

  Original Egyptian passport valid for at least three months after the intended date of departure from the Schengen area. Passport must have been issued within the previous ten years and contain at least two blank pages.

• Passport photograph

  One recent colored passport photograph not more than 6 months old, without glasses, sized 3.5x4.5 cm.

• Family registry certificate or individual registry certificate

  Original Family Registry Certificate if married or divorced, or Individual Registry Certificate if single, from Country of Origin. Document must be translated into English.

• Previous passport(s)

  Applicants who have not held a Schengen visa within the past 7 years must submit previous passport(s) covering that period. If applying through Cairo Visa Application Center, gap between passports must not exceed 3 months. For Alexandria applications, no gap is permitted. If previous passports are unavailable, provide a translated movement certificate from Al-Mugamma covering the last 7 years listing all passports.
