Passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned date of leaving the UK; date of issue should be within the last 10 years unless renewed before 1 October 2018.

All Czech citizens require an ETA to enter the UK from April 2, 2025. The ETA is a digital pre-travel authorization permitting visits up to 6 months. Apply online before travel.

A recent passport-sized photograph will be required during the ETA application and for biometric capture.

Biometric capture is mandatory as part of entry and ETA application processes, including photo and fingerprints.

Proof of onward or return travel such as flight tickets is required to demonstrate intention to leave the UK within 6 months.

Proof of accommodation during the stay in the UK must be provided to support the tourism purpose.

Applicants must show evidence of sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay in the UK, such as recent bank statements.

Travel insurance covering health and travel contingencies is recommended though not mandatory.

Optional letter or statement explaining the reason for tourism visit can strengthen the application.

A standard visa application form is not required unless applying for other visa types; ETA application is done online separately.
