Canadian to Ghana Visa on Arrival

Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of departure from Ghana. Passport must have at least one blank visa page and not be frayed, torn, separating, or altered in any way. Include a copy of the bio-data page.

Must be completed and signed. Available through Ghana High Commission Canada or online e-visa system. Applications completed online must be submitted within 14 days of commencement.

Color passport-type photograph meeting strict criteria: taken within last 3 months, against all-white background, printed on high-quality photo paper, 2 inches by 2 inches, identical copies, full frontal view with face centered, neutral non-smiling expression. No eyeglasses or headwear except for religious purposes. For online upload: 140px x 170px dimension, file size not exceeding 1 MB.

Proof of Yellow Fever vaccination is mandatory upon arrival in Ghana for anyone over 9 months of age. Certificate must be valid and show vaccination details.

Return flight ticket may be requested by Ghana immigration authorities. Provides evidence of planned departure from Ghana.

Hotel or accommodation booking confirmation demonstrating where you will stay during your visit to Ghana.
