Beninese to United States Visa Required

Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your period of stay in the United States unless exempted by country-specific agreements.

Complete the Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application, Form DS-160. All questions must be answered; do not leave blanks. Submit the DS-160 confirmation page with your application.

One 2 x 2 inch color photo taken within the last 6 months. No glasses allowed, with a light or white background.

Submit a confirmed round-trip flight itinerary showing your entry and exit dates.

Provide proof of accommodation arrangements for the duration of your stay in the United States.

Provide recent bank statements or other evidence demonstrating your financial ability to cover the costs of your stay and return travel.

A clear statement describing the purpose of your visit (tourism) must be provided.

Applicants must provide biometric data including fingerprints and a photograph during their visa interview at the U.S. Embassy.

Schedule and attend an in-person visa interview at the U.S. Embassy in Benin as part of the application process.

While not mandatory, travel insurance covering health and emergencies is highly recommended.
