Required Documents & Information

• Valid passport with 6+ months validity

  You must provide a valid passport or travel document that remains valid for at least 6 months after your intended entry date to the UK.

• Valid job offer from employer

  A job offer for a position on the eligible occupation list from a UK employer who holds a Skilled Worker sponsor license.

• Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS)

  A unique reference number from your sponsoring employer detailing your intended job role and contract period.

• Eligible occupation at RQF Level 6 or higher

  The job must meet the UK’s recognized Regulated Qualifications Framework Level 6 (equivalent to bachelor's degree level). Lower-skilled jobs (RQF Level 3-5) are no longer eligible except for limited and temporary shortage roles.

• Salary threshold of £41,700+ annually

  Your job’s total annual salary must be at least £41,700 or higher, as well as meeting the specific ‘going rate’ and minimum hourly wage for your SOC code.

• Bachelor's degree or higher

  You must hold a bachelor’s degree or a higher academic qualification relevant to the occupation code offered.

• IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent

  You must demonstrate English proficiency at CEFR Level B2 or higher. Typically shown by an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent test. The B2 level is required for both main applicants and all adult dependants.

• Proof of funds: $1,600 USD

  You must show personal savings of at least £1,270 (approx. $1,600 USD) held for at least 28 consecutive days prior to application, unless employer certifies maintenance.

• Police clearance certificate

  You must provide a criminal record certificate from any country in which you have lived for 12 months or more in the past 10 years (for certain roles only).
