Required Documents & Information

• Valid passport with 6+ months validity

  Each applicant must provide a valid passport or travel document, with at least six months left before expiry on the date of application.

• Proof of family relationship

  Applicants must provide official documents proving their relationship to the sponsor (e.g., marriage certificate for spouses, birth certificates for children).

• Proof of funds: $35,800 USD

  Sponsor must show evidence of a minimum annual income equivalent to £29,000 (or savings to meet threshold) through payslips, bank statements, or other income documents.

• Proof of adequate accommodation

  Sponsor must provide rental agreement, mortgage, or property ownership documents showing there is sufficient, suitable accommodation for all family members per UK statutory overcrowding standards.

• IELTS score of 4.0 or equivalent

  Applicants aged 18-64 must provide evidence of English proficiency at A1 level (CEFR) or higher; IELTS certificate or approved alternative accepted.

• Completed application form

  Applicants must fill out the designated UK Family Visa online application form with all accurate personal information.

• Biometric enrolment appointment

  All applicants must attend a biometric enrolment appointment to provide fingerprints and digital photographs at an approved visa application center.

• Police clearance certificate

  Applicants over 18 must submit a police clearance certificate or criminal record check from their country of residence covering the previous five years.

• Medical examination by approved physician

  Applicants may be required to undergo a tuberculosis (TB) test and provide a health clearance certificate from a UK-approved clinic if applying from designated countries.
