For a Nairobi birthday you can book in one go, the Birthday Adventure Package at Sironka Valley Resort & Spa is KES 3,317 per person for ten or more guests and covers the meal, drinks, music, a hostess, a photo booth and a zipline or archery session; everything else here is one activity you build the party around. Sironka does the whole party for ten or more guests
The Birthday Adventure Package at Sironka Valley Resort & Spa on Magadi Road in Kiserian is the only option here that is a party rather than an activity. KES 3,317 per person, for a minimum of ten guests, gets a meal with juice and water, a photo booth, music, a hostess and one activity for the group, either ziplining or archery. You choose the activity when you book and the host confirms the session time afterwards. Anyone doing the zipline or archery goes through the safety briefing first and follows the host's rules on equipment and who can take part.
What it leaves out: transport to Kiserian, the birthday cake unless you arrange it separately, and any second activity. Tell us the ages on the guest list when you book so we can check the zipline suits them, and ask us about a cake at the same time.

View experienceLaser tag comes to your garden, compound or school field
Laser Tag runs three mobile set-ups in Nairobi, all priced per session rather than per player. The Mobile Bunker Laser Tag Experience at KES 40,000 is the open-layout version: the crew arrives, inflates the bunkers, hands out the taggers, runs a safety briefing, a warm-up mission and a series of team rounds, then packs down after the final score. The host calls the open layout the approachable one for younger groups. The Mobile Maze Laser Tag Experience at KES 60,000 builds an inflatable maze instead, with tighter routes and more tactical play, and needs a larger clear area. The Custom Mobile Laser Tag Battlefield at KES 30,000 uses whatever your own outdoor space already has, trees, walls and natural cover, with movable bunkers added where they fit; send photos or a short video of the space after booking.
For all three you send the date, venue, number of players and age group after booking, and the host confirms space, access, setup time and any transport charge before the day. Venue hire, food, drinks and decorations are yours to arrange. Rain or strong wind can stop an outdoor inflatable set-up, so agree a covered backup with the host when you book. Ask us how many players one session covers for your group.
Mobile Bunker Laser Tag Experience
Turn your venue into a lively open laser-tag arena with inflatable bunkers, supervised games and plenty of room to move. The team brings the equipment, sets up the battlefield and runs the action for birthdays, schools, team events and family days.

View experiencePaintball at Kereita suits teenagers and competitive adults
The Kereita Forest Paintball Challenge at The Forest adventure centre in Limuru is one hour of marshal-led team games for KES 2,100 per person, with a second price tier at KES 1,900 (ask us which guests qualify). Each player gets 100 paintballs, a marker, a mask and the venue's protective kit, and the hour runs registration, team split, equipment fitting, a safety briefing, the game rounds and a debrief with scores and photos. Extra paintballs are KES 500 for 50. Arrive 30 minutes before your slot, in closed shoes and clothes that cover arms and legs and can take paint. The Forest opens for public activities Thursday to Sunday and on public holidays, with sessions from 9:00 AM and the last starting at 4:00 PM.
Transport, meals and drinks are not included, and ziplining, archery and the other Forest activities are separate bookings, so a paintball birthday is usually paintball plus lunch plus a second activity you book alongside it. Age and equipment-fit rules can change; share the children's ages so the venue confirms eligibility before you pay. The venue can delay or cancel a session when the arena is unsafe. View experienceCandle workshops cover three budgets for an adult birthday
Snug Aura's Pour Your Own Scented Candle Workshop is the fullest session: US$42 per person for a minimum of four, with 5% off from six people and 10% off from twelve. You test fragrance oils, record a blend for each of two 200-gram candles, wick and pour both, then eat the included snacks while they set, and leave with both candles packaged to finish curing at home. Allow two to three hours including the scent selection and cooling. It takes ages 7 to 70, but children only in a family session the host has approved in advance, with an adult beside them, because hot wax is involved. The Nairobi venue pin and session time arrive after booking; wear closed shoes and nothing with loose sleeves, and tell the host about fragrance sensitivities before you start. Cancel seven days ahead for a full refund, 50% back between 72 and 167 hours before, nothing inside 72 hours, and you can transfer a place to another guest with 24 hours' notice. Transport and alcohol are not included.
Pour Your Own Scented Candle Workshop
Slow down over fragrance, warm wax and the pleasure of making something by hand. With the Snug Aura team beside you, explore a curated scent selection, build a blend that feels personal and hand-pour two 200-gram candles from wick to finished jar. The beginner-friendly session balances practical craft with an easy social atmosphere, making it lovely for friends, birthdays, bridal groups or team time. Snacks and refreshments are served while the candles cool, and you leave with both pieces packaged to continue curing safely at home.

View experienceWick & Wine's Candle Making Bar at Marula Green Market on Marula Lane is the cheapest and shortest: KES 1,850 per person, Saturdays at 10:00 from 22 August to 26 December 2026, for groups of three to five aged 13 to 80. Pouring takes 45 to 60 minutes and the candle then needs one to two hours to set before you move it, so plan the rest of the market morning around that. Materials, a host and photos from the day are included; a glass of wine or rosé is a KES 600 add-on, food is not included, and bookings are non-refundable unless the host cancels. The same team brings the bar to a home or private venue for birthdays; ask us about a private date.
Sere Selfcare's Private Candle-Making Experience sits between the two: KES 3,770 per person for a 200 ml jar or KES 4,060 for a 300 ml jar, at Pickled Café & Bar in Lavington or at your home, with a transport fee that depends on where you are. Customised aprons and candle labels can be added on request. Ask us what the session includes beyond the candle before you book it for a group. If painting appeals more than pouring, paint and sip sessions in Nairobi compares six.
Cake decorating works from age six and doubles as the cake
Bijou and Bubbles Cake Decorating with Asai Treats is KES 7,800 per person for two to fifteen guests from age six. Each person gets a Bijou mini cake, frosting, tools and finishing elements, a step-by-step piping demonstration, one drink and bitings, and a styled setup for photos, then carries the cake home level and cool. It runs at a partner venue or as a mobile setup for a private group, with the address and arrival time confirmed before the session; arrive ten minutes early. Full payment is taken on booking, and the kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, soy and nuts even when they are not in your design, so share allergies first. Transport, extra food and drinks, private venue hire and custom themes or larger cakes are not included unless they are confirmed in writing.

- Minimums. Sironka needs ten guests, Snug Aura four, Wick & Wine three, Asai Treats two. Laser tag is priced per session, so a small group pays the same as a large one.
- Transport. None of these includes it. Kiserian and Kereita are out of town, and the laser tag crew charges for travel outside its agreed service area.
- Cake and food. Only Sironka includes a meal, and even there the cake is extra. Asai Treats sends everyone home with their own mini cake. Laser tag and paintball include nothing to eat.
- Weather. Inflatable laser tag and Kereita paintball are outdoor plans; agree a backup space or date. Candles and cake decorating are indoors.
- Ages and supervision. Zipline and archery at Sironka, paintball at Kereita and hot wax at the candle workshops each have their own age or supervision rules. Send the ages of everyone coming with your booking request.
